I am a therapist experienced in working in a trauma-informed way with individuals who have been diagnosed with, or identify with traits of, Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), also known as Borderline Personality Disorder.

In my professional role, I have assessed and worked in a variety of settings, included Acute Units.

My approach recognises that many of the challenges associated with EUPD—such as intense emotions, difficulties in relationships, and struggles with self-image—are often rooted in past experiences of trauma, attachment disruption, or invalidation. Rather than viewing these responses as “disordered,” I understand them as meaningful adaptations to overwhelming experiences.

I aim to provide a safe, consistent, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Therapy may focus on:

  • Developing emotional regulation skills
  • Understanding patterns in relationships
  • Building a more stable and compassionate sense of self
  • Processing traumatic experiences safely
  • Reducing shame and self-criticism

I work collaboratively, respecting your autonomy and ensuring that you feel in control of the therapeutic process. My practice is grounded in empathy, transparency, and trust, with careful attention to boundaries and emotional safety.
