I offer a warm, supportive space for individuals who have experienced childhood abuse and are seeking a place to gently make sense of their experiences—at a pace that feels right for them.
Early experiences of abuse or neglect can have a deep and lasting impact. They can shape how you see yourself, how safe you feel with others, and how you manage emotions in everyday life. These effects are often complex and may continue long after the original experiences.
A Safe and Respectful Therapeutic Space
My approach is both trauma-informed and person-centred. This means that creating a sense of safety, trust, and respect is always the priority.
You won’t be rushed, and you will never be expected to talk about anything before you feel ready. You remain in control of what you share, explore, and work through in therapy.
Healing Through Understanding
I believe that healing begins with feeling truly heard and understood. Therapy offers a space where your experiences can be explored in a way that feels manageable, supported, and free from judgement.
How Therapy Can Support You
Together, we may gently explore:
- Making sense of how your past experiences have shaped you
- Finding ways to feel safer, calmer, and more grounded in daily life
- Understanding overwhelming emotions and responses
- Building self-compassion and easing feelings of shame or self-blame
- Exploring boundaries and relationships in a way that feels safe
- Reconnecting with your sense of self and what matters most to you
Moving at Your Own Pace
There is no pressure and no “right” way to heal. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate presence—walking alongside you as you begin to feel more understood, supported, and in control of your own story.
